About this Event
Southampton Pride takes over Guildhall Square for the August bank holiday weekend and reaches its tenth edition in 2026. It is free and runs across two full days rather than one.
The march sets off from Queens Park on the Saturday morning and goes through the city centre and under the Bargate, the medieval gate that still stands in the middle of the high street, before turning back to Guildhall Square. The main stage runs on both days with music, drag, DJs and community performances.
A Pride Village and a market hall sit inside the O2 Guildhall on the square, and there is a youth zone and a family area alongside the food and drink stalls.
Getting in costs nothing and needs no ticket. The organiser sells optional wristbands and upgrades for anyone who wants to put money into the event or get a little more out of the day.
