Isle of Wight Pride takes place every summer on the seafront in Ryde, and 2027 is its tenth year. The day begins with the Pride parade and carries on at the Pride Community Village on Ryde Esplanade, with traders and community groups.
In recent years the parade has set off from Ryde School, come down Union Street through the town and finished at the village by the sea.
Ryde is the island's main arrival point from Portsmouth, with the passenger ferry and the hovercraft landing a few minutes from the Esplanade, so a day trip from the mainland is easy.
