About this Event
Preston Pride fills the Flag Market, the open square in front of the Harris Museum at the top of Fishergate. It has run since 2012 and is the main LGBTQ+ event in Lancashire.
The square holds a main stage with live music and performances, and a market of information stands and stalls taken by community groups, charities and local services. Preston Pride's Got Talent is a fixture of the day.
Because the Flag Market sits in the middle of the shopping streets rather than on a fenced site, a good part of the crowd is people who were passing and stopped. Groups who want a stall or want to take part rather than just attend register with the organiser beforehand.
