Portsmouth Pride is the city's main Pride day, run by the Portsmouth Pride Trust and held on Castle Field in Southsea, a short walk from the seafront. There is a Pride parade as well as the day on the field with live entertainment and music.
The day is open to all ages. It is free and unfenced, with no tickets, and the trust runs a Keep Pride Free appeal to hold it that way.
Outside the main day the trust organises social events and safe spaces through the year, so the Pride is the biggest date in a longer calendar.
