Plas Tan-Yr-Allt is a Regency villa from 1798, set on a wooded hillside above Tremadog inside the Snowdonia National Park boundary, with views over the Cob and the coast below. The Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley lived here in 1812 and 1813 and wrote part of Queen Mab in the house.
Four guest rooms are named for the house's history: Shelley's Theatre, the William Madocks Room, Miss Hilda's and the Drawing Room. The estate covers about 40 acres of gardens and grounds.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the house, and the Ffestiniog Railway, Portmeirion village and the beaches of the Llŷn peninsula are all close by.
