About this Event
Penzance Pride is one of the town Prides run by Cornwall Pride, the county's LGBTQ+ charity. It starts with a march from Market Jew Street, down Chapel Street and out onto the seafront, carrying a giant rainbow flag through the town.
The celebration on the Promenade follows, with live music, drag and cabaret, and entertainment for families. A bar for over-18s is open all day, and people can bring their own food and soft drinks.
Entry is free and there is no ticket. The march takes about half an hour, so most of the day is spent by the sea.
