Fen Lodge Shepherd's Huts is a small glamping site in a wild meadow just outside the village of Middleton, on Suffolk's heritage coast. Three individually furnished huts, Willow, Beech and Alder, sit among mature trees and hedges that give each one its own private pocket of the meadow. Willow and Beech sleep two, Alder sleeps four.
Every hut has a wood burning stove, a kitchenette, a seating area and a double bed, with a private Scandi-style washroom nearby. Outside there are fire pits, a barbecue area and a stargazing spot away from any light.
The site borders Darsham Marshes nature reserve, and a footpath along the water meadow leads into Middleton village. Dunwich beach, RSPB Minsmere and the seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold are a short drive away.
