Manchester Village Pride is the Bank Holiday Pride weekend in Manchester's Gay Village. It is run by Manchester Village Pride CIC, a community interest company set up by Village business owners, residents and activists after the previous organiser collapsed in 2025. Its board is unpaid and any surplus is legally locked for reinvestment in grassroots queer causes.
The weekend takes over the Village streets. There is a main stage on Bloom Street and Sackville Street, a quieter community stage in Sackville Gardens and a dance arena, the parade marches through the city centre on the Saturday, and a fringe of independent events runs in venues across the city.
The Monday is a free community and family day, and it ends with the candlelit vigil at the Beacon of Hope in Sackville Gardens for those lost to HIV and AIDS. Entry to the Village on the other days is by wristband, which pays for the road closures, security, medical cover and the artists.
