The Thompsons Arms is on Sackville Street, on the Village side of Sackville Gardens. It is one of the longest-running independent LGBTQ+ venues in Manchester.
The programme is drag, DJ sets and theme nights, and entry is free every night. The crowd is more local and less polished than the Canal Street bars, which is much of the appeal.
