Eagle is a men-only members bar on Bloom Street, at the western edge of the Gay Village. Entry needs a membership card, which anyone who identifies as male can apply for. Applications can be completed at the door, and ID is checked as part of that.

The crowd is leather, rubber, denim, bear and fetish. The dress code is broad rather than restrictive: casual men's clothing, jeans, shorts, leather, rubber, denim, kilts, lederhosen, military, industrial, suits, workwear, sports kit and boots are all named as acceptable. Themed nights run around those codes, alongside drag, quiz nights and regular charity fundraisers.

House rules are published and enforced. Members are expected to treat staff and each other decently, and drug use costs a member their card. The bar calls itself a safe space for its members and the North West's premier male-only venue.
