Company Bar is a small basement bar on Richmond Street, a couple of doors from The Molly House and under the same ownership. It has been open since 1998.
The room is dark and low-ceilinged, and the crowd is older and more male than the Canal Street venues, with leather and bear regulars. Its own account has described it as a place where real men meet men, which is a fair summary of who drinks there.
Behind the bar there is a short rotating list of cask and craft beer alongside the usual spirits.
