Of the three saunas I tried in London, this is undoubtedly the best. It's clean, large, has a bar serving alcohol and food, the staff are very friendly, and you can go just to socialise and chat with people and have fun too! I recommend it 100%! The only thing I would say is that they need to clean the floor of the upper cabins (the free ones) a little more, but I 100% recommend this place! The clientele is of all ages, from young people to older people! It's a very comfortable place!

What works well: gorgeous jacuzzi.

What doesn’t: people are allowed to use their phones in front of the jacuzzi. I complained and the stuff told me that as long as I haven’t seen them taking pictures that’s ok. So if you don’t mind spending your time checking if your pics are taken while cruising, then all good. Tbh there is not much cruising happening anyway. Even if you get there you need to pay extra for a private cabin, a top of the 25 pounds for the entrance.

I would like to express my utter disbelief at the level of pettiness, greed, and emotional emptiness demonstrated by your spa today.

I paid the entrance fee, and less than a minute later — before I had even undressed or used a single facility — I was forced to leave due to an unexpected emergency. One might reasonably expect that an establishment selling “relaxation” would also possess a basic sense of humanity.

That expectation was clearly misplaced.

When I explained the situation and asked for a refund, I was met with an immediate and unapologetic refusal. Apparently, simply walking through the door qualifies as full use of your services. No locker used, no towel touched, no spa entered — yet my money was happily retained.

What truly stood out was the absolute lack of care for customers. Not only was there no flexibility, there wasn’t even the decency to say “hope you’re ok.” No concern, no empathy, no acknowledgement that emergencies happen — just cold indifference.

For a business that claims to promote wellbeing, the irony is staggering. The service was greedy, cheap, emotionally barren, and utterly devoid of customer care. I would strongly advise others to think twice before handing over their money, because once payment is made, compassion apparently no longer exists.

I had a really disappointing and unsafe experience here. I bought a pair of flip-flops for £8 from the facility, and within minutes both of them broke at the same time as I stepped out of the jacuzzi. If a member of staff hadn’t been passing by and caught me, I would have fallen. I temporarily fixed them and carried on, but they broke again later and I nearly fell a second time.

When I went to reception to request a refund due to the obvious health and safety risk, the staff member (Meet) refused to address the issue and told me he was instructed not to issue refunds. I was told to email instead. I emailed twice absolutely no reply. Because of the complete lack of response, I had no choice but to request a chargeback through my card provider.

This is unacceptable customer service and goes against basic consumer rights, especially for a clearly faulty product. On top of that, in most places across Europe flip-flops for spa/wellness facilities are provided for free, so paying £8 for something dangerous and disposable makes the situation even worse.

Very disappointing experience and definitely not what I expected from a London sauna. I don't think I will ever go again, I cannot recommend it.

I was really disappointed with Pleasuredrome.
It was busy, but there was absolutely no sense of fun or atmosphere. I found it very hard to relax. The larger steam room has no seating at all, and the smaller steam room is so hot that it’s impossible to sit comfortably for more than a minute. I overheated very quickly and there was nowhere to cool down except by standing upstairs under the air-conditioning vent.

The “play area” is practically non-existent, and despite the number of people inside, there was no vibe whatsoever. The cabins are locked, so you can’t enter one spontaneously, which kills the flow and makes everything feel restricted and transactional.

The place looks modern and refurbished, but it has no soul. I lost interest very quickly and ended up leaving early. Not an enjoyable experience.

I won't visit again
