The Two Brewers has been a gay venue on Clapham High Street since 1981, and it is built around drag cabaret. There are shows every night of the year, which is the whole proposition of the place.
The layout is a show bar with a stage and seating at the front, and two dancefloors behind it for once the show is over. Quiz and karaoke nights fill the gaps in the cabaret programme.
It is 18 and over with photo ID checked at the door. The crowd is a Clapham crowd: local, mixed, and there for the show rather than to be looked at.
