Pride in the Moorlands is the Pride of the Staffordshire Moorlands, the hill country between Stoke-on-Trent and the Peak District, with the market town of Leek at its centre. It falls on the last weekend of June.
The festival is young. Its first edition was in 2025, and in 2026 it spread across the district: a Pride torch set off from the village of Flash on the Friday and passed through Cheadle, Biddulph and Endon before reaching Leek on the Sunday, where the weekend ended with a dance party in the Market Square and a Pride exhibition at the Foxlowe Arts Centre. The 2027 programme has not been published yet.
The volunteer group behind it runs something every month rather than only the summer weekend, and is working towards becoming a charity.
