Queens Court has anchored Leeds' Freedom Quarter since the 1990s, and a six-figure refurbishment by its current operator relaunched the ground floor bar and the nightclub upstairs, now called Pride. Cabaret hosts weekly drag shows downstairs, and the club upstairs runs themed nights and DJ sets across the weekend.
The building sits opposite the Corn Exchange on Briggate, in the middle of the row of LGBTQ+ bars that also includes Bar Fibre and Viaduct Showbar. There's a courtyard space that hosts daytime parties, and the venue describes itself as somewhere that welcomes whoever you are, whoever you love.
Expect a mixed crowd of regulars and visitors drawn by the cabaret, especially at weekends when the upstairs club gets busy.
