Flamingos Coffee House is a cafe in Leeds' Central Arcade that describes its own mission as building community, centring queer voices and keeping things joyful. It serves coffee and food through the day, and runs a busy programme of community events: a non-binary support and social group, LGBTQIA+ discussion nights, board games evenings, an open mic and a regular coffee-and-cake social meet-up.
It operates a fund, the Flamingo Fund, that supports Leeds' LGBTQ+ community directly. The cafe has a safer spaces policy posted on its own site, and its event listings are dominated by queer and community-focused programming rather than standard cafe fare.
It's inside the Central Arcade, a covered Victorian shopping arcade in the city centre, rather than in the Freedom Quarter bar cluster.
