About this Event
Kirrie Pride is the Pride of Kirriemuir, a town of about six thousand people in Angus at the foot of the Angus Glens. It is small and locally run, and it works the way small town Prides do, out of the bars and the community venues rather than off a main stage on a closed site.
The pubs around the town centre carry a good part of the programme. The Pride raises money for local causes, among them a music charity based in the town and a local LGBTQ+ group.
This is a rural Pride and not a city one, which is most of what makes it worth the trip. The nearest larger towns are Forfar and Dundee, and there is no railway station in Kirriemuir.
