The Boiler Room is the second of the area's two gay saunas and the more intimate of them, a few minutes on foot from Hove station and about three minutes by train from Brighton. It is men only.
The ground floor has a dry sauna, a steam room and a large jacuzzi. Upstairs there are private cabins, a video room and other play spaces, along with a cinema lounge that was added recently. There is a tanning booth.
A licensed bar serves alcohol alongside light meals and snacks, and tea, coffee and filtered water are free all day. The venue takes card payment only. It also runs a regular cruising party night.
