Great Yarmouth and Waveney Pride 2026

Great Yarmouth and Waveney Pride covers the stretch of coast where Norfolk runs into Suffolk, from Great Yarmouth down to Lowestoft. The day opens with a parade along Marine Parade, the seafront strip known locally as the Golden Mile, and the organisers are explicit that it is a peaceful protest for the community's rights and not only a celebration.

The festival that follows is at the Drill House, an arts venue on York Road, with live entertainment and stalls. The organisation took Pride Organisation of the Year at the 2026 Gaydio Awards.

Joining the parade costs nothing. The festival itself is ticketed, and buying online beforehand is cheaper than paying at the door. The same group runs fundraisers and community events across the two counties for the rest of the year.
