The Gallery Bar

The Gallery Bar is on Brunswick Street, a block off the main Merchant City run, and its outdoor area is the reason to know about it. The patio is large by city centre standards and fills up in warm weather and through Pride.

Inside it is a bar and lounge serving classic pub food alongside beer, cocktails and coffee, which makes it usable in the afternoon as well as at night.

It describes itself as inclusively for everyone, and the crowd bears that out, running more mixed in age and gender than the bars around the corner. Live music is a regular fixture, and the city's monthly leather social meets here.
