Scottish Borders Pride 2026

Scottish Borders Pride is the first Pride ever held in the Scottish Borders, and it takes place in Galashiels. The Borders was one of the last parts of Scotland without one, which is a good part of why the organisers started it.

The day opens with a parade through the town, with an exhibition running alongside it. The afternoon moves indoors to the Volunteer Hall for live music, entertainment and stalls, and a ceilidh follows in the evening.

The region is rural and its towns are spread out, so this draws from across the whole of the Borders rather than from Galashiels alone.
