Falmouth Pride comes early in the Pride year, in spring, well before the summer season. The charity Cornwall Pride runs it as one of its town Prides, alongside Bodmin, Truro, Penzance and Newquay.
The march gathers at The Moor and goes through the town centre, down the narrow main street under the bunting behind a long rainbow flag, to Event Square in front of the Maritime Museum. The celebration there has a performance stage with live music, a bar for adults, food and drink vendors, information and support stalls, a Cornwall Pride shop and a quiet space. The organisers bill the entertainment as family friendly.
