Durham Pride is the city's annual LGBT+ Pride, organised since 2014 by Durham Pride UK, a by-and-for LGBT+ charity that also runs a support and advice line and training through the year.
The day pairs a march through the historic centre with a festival. In 2026 the parade set off from Palace Green beside the cathedral, went through Market Place and Claypath and ended at The Sands, the riverside ground by the Wear where the festival was held. The festival site was ticketed that year, with stalls and parade groups booked in advance.
