Foyle Pride Festival 2026

29 Aug 2026, 13:00 - 17:00 | Derry, United Kingdom

About this Event

Foyle Pride is the Pride of Derry and the wider Derry City and Strabane district. The festival runs across eleven days in August and closes with the parade, which is the part most people come for.

The parade assembles on the Waterside at the North West Transport Hub and crosses the Craigavon Bridge into the city, up Carlisle Road and through Ferryquay Street and Shipquay Street to Guildhall Square. That route retraces the 1968 civil rights march, which is a deliberate choice and not a convenience. Live music and performances start in Guildhall Square once the parade arrives.

The rest of the programme is spread across the city and includes film screenings, readings, a queer art market, workshops, a football tournament and club nights. Some of it is ticketed and some is free.

British Sign Language interpretation is provided at the parade and there is a family area with circus skills. An accessible mobility bus runs along the route, booked through the organiser.
