About

Queenshilling is an LGBT+ nightclub on Frogmore Street, in the cluster of gay venues below Park Street. It calls itself one of Bristol's longest established gay venues.

The room is small and low ceilinged, with a neon lit bar along one side and the dancefloor in front of it. Weekend nights are club nights with DJs and chart pop, and the club works with Bristol Pride on collaborations through the year. Three rules are posted at the entrance: no racism, no homophobia, no trouble. On what to wear, the club says flamboyant and fabulous or simply whatever makes you happy.

The venue also runs fundraising nights for local causes and hires the space out for private parties and filming. It is worth knowing before you go that access is limited and there is no accessible toilet, though the club says wheelchair users are welcome.
