Old Castle Green

Old Castle Green is a pub on Gloucester Lane, a step off the main run of Old Market. It calls itself a welcoming and inclusive community hub open to all, and an active supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, which it says is not something it does only during Pride.

Behind the pub is a planted garden with comfortable furniture and lighting once it gets dark, described by the pub as a secret haven away from the hustle. There is a kitchen, and the pub runs its own events through the year.

The crowd is mixed rather than exclusively gay, and it works as somewhere to sit and talk rather than a club. It is a couple of minutes from the Old Market Tavern and Bristol Bear Bar.
