The Brighton Sauna is on Grand Parade, directly opposite the Royal Pavilion, about ten minutes on foot from the station and a short walk from the Kemptown bars. It is gay owned and men only.
The facilities are unusually complete for a British sauna. A fourteen-man dry sauna with its own dark room, a twelve-man steam room and a ten-man jacuzzi, then sixteen private cabins, four glory-hole cabins and a sling room downstairs, along with a large darkroom. There is a fifteen-seat cinema, a lounge with a big screen, a dining area and a massage room with professional masseurs.
Towels, lockers, chilled water and WiFi are included, and there is a discreet smoking area so nobody has to get dressed to use it. The house line is no attitude, and all shapes, sizes and ages are welcome. The sauna carries sexual health information from the local services and has won the city's Golden Handbag for best gay business several times.
