Red Brighton Blue is a boutique guest house in a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse on Charlotte Street in Kemptown, just off the seafront. The house dates from around 1830, keeps its high ceilings and large windows, and was completely renovated in 2016. It says in as many words that LGBTQ+ guests are welcome.
There are 11 rooms over five floors, with no lift. They range from kings to singles, all with en-suite rainfall showers; some have side views of the sea and others look onto the courtyard garden, which is planted and lit in the evening.
Breakfast is served in the dining room, continental or a cooked full English. Well-behaved children are welcome, stag and hen parties are not.
