Revenge has been running since 1991 and is the largest LGBTQ+ club in the city. It spreads over three floors. The main room downstairs has LED screens across the walls and a Void sound system, and Level 2 above it is darker and more Berlin in feel, with a Funktion One rig, an LED tunnel and dancing cages.
The roof terrace is the part people remember, looking down the seafront to the Palace Pier. There are themed VIP booths on both club floors and a photo booth.
The music changes with the night: alternative and indie at the start of the week, Y2K and R&B for the student crowd, pop later in the week, and a split between pop, dance and classic R&B across the two floors at the weekend. Drag performers appear across the programme.
