Boombox is the club above The Maverick, with its own door on Donegall Street rather than an entrance through the bar.
The music is mostly pop and the nights are themed. Drag is a fixture: local performers hold the regular slots and queens from Drag Race UK turn up as guests. It is a small room rather than a warehouse club, which is what most people who go there say they like about it.
Since it sits on top of The Maverick and beside The Reporter, the three tend to be done as one night out.
