Union Street Bar

Union Street Bar has been on Union Street since 2003, in a 19th-century shoe factory that was converted rather than gutted. It is one of the largest gay venues in Belfast and serves food as well as drinks.

The building is split into several rooms. The Green Room is the cocktail lounge and the quieter end of the place. The Shoe Factory is the big entertainment space and holds the biggest bear night in the city. There is a garden and a roof terrace for the warmer months.

The programme is drag cabaret, karaoke, gameshows and a bingo night that has become the thing the bar is best known for.
