About

This is the Alfred Street branch of a west country cafe chain, in a Grade II listed building a couple of streets below the Circus, with an atrium ceiling, stained glass and a lot of daylight. It does breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, and it is one of the rooms Bath's queer life actually uses.

A monthly queer coffee social meets here, run by a local group and advertised by the cafe itself. There is nothing to book and no membership, you walk in and sit down. The same room has taken a fundraiser for a Bath trans safe space campaign and a queer variety night.

The cafe is step free and dog friendly. Parking on the street is thin and the nearest car park is on Charlotte Street. Takeaway drinks are served into reusable cups only, so bring your own or drink in.
