Mid and East Antrim Pride is Ballymena's Pride, and 2027 is its third year. It is run by a small non-profit group from the borough and covers Ballymena and the towns around it in County Antrim.
The day is a march through the town followed by a celebration. The organisers' own motto is "Spread Love, Not Slurry", a nod to the farming country the borough sits in.
Ballymena lies north of Belfast on the railway line to Derry, so the Pride fits easily into a weekend in the city.
