Dovbychka is Kyiv's best-known naturist beach, a stretch of sand on the Dnipro with no facilities of any kind. It is mixed and not a gay beach as such, but the woodland behind it has been a cruising ground for many years, as has the treeline behind the beach next to it.
Getting there takes some effort. In summer a small boat crosses from Hydropark, which is the easy way and the one most people use. Otherwise it is a walk of several kilometres along a forest path from the pedestrian bridge.
Take water and whatever else you need with you. There is no bar, no shop, no changing hut and no shade away from the trees. It is quiet on weekday mornings and busy on hot weekends.
