Red Raw is the gay club at 1471. Sokak in Alsancak, the quarter where most of Izmir's nightlife sits. The same address has held the city's gay club through several changes of name, and it is still called Club KA or Marjinal Disco as often as Red Raw.
The venue describes itself as an LGBTi cafe bar. In practice it is a late club: a DJ, a dance floor and show nights, with Turkish pop alongside international chart music.
Izmir's gay scene is small and it is concentrated in Alsancak, so a weekend night out here tends to end at this address.
