Stay Club calls itself the only bear club in Turkey, and the room matches the claim. The crowd is mostly masculine men in their twenties to forties, bears and cubs at the centre of it, with mixed and non-binary groups alongside.
It sits on Sıraselviler Caddesi in Cihangir, a few minutes down the hill from Taksim Square. Two floors and a roof terrace. Music is commercial pop and dance with some EDM.
The club is the host venue for Middle Eastern Bear Week, which brings international DJs and a run of bear parties to the city each September.
