Love Dance Point has been part of the Istanbul gay scene for well over a decade. It sits up in Harbiye rather than down in Beyoğlu with most of the rest of it, about ten minutes on foot from Taksim Square.
Three resident DJs, a house drag queen and go-go dancers. The programme runs to pop nights and themed parties, and the crowd skews towards the more cosmopolitan end of the city's LGBT+ population, plus the visitors who find their way up there.
It is a weekend club rather than an everyday one.
