Mylord is a small sauna on Seebahnstrasse in Kreis 3, near Lochergut, and it has been in the same building for more than fifty years. It does not compete with the big places in the old town and does not try to: the pitch is that it is the cosiest sauna in Zurich rather than the largest.
The house is explicit about who it is for. Gay men, bisexual men and married men who value discretion, and it adds that everyone is welcome whether student or pensioner, bear or smooth, and including crossdressers, trans guests and lingerie wearers, with a regular meet for that crowd.
Besides the sauna itself there are dark rooms and glory holes. A team of masseurs works on site, and there are naked and tantra yoga sessions for men, both arranged through the venue.
There is parking in the Coop garage next door, and trams 2 and 3 stop at Lochergut, about five minutes on foot.
