St. Gallen Pride 2027

04 Sep 2027 | St. Gallen, Switzerland

About this Event

St. Gallen Pride happens every second year, and it is built for the whole of eastern Switzerland rather than for the city alone. People come in from Appenzell, Thurgau and the Rhine valley for it, which is a large part of why a city of eighty thousand can fill its old town.

The day is a march through the streets of the centre followed by a stage programme of music acts and speakers. The first edition in 2023 drew around 2,500 people under the motto Zeit, Farbe zu bekennen, and the second in 2025 around 2,200 under Love knows no borders, diversity knows no walls. Both were run by the association of the same name with several dozen volunteers.

In the years between the Prides the same association keeps a programme going, with parties, drag nights and cultural evenings, so the city has queer nights in the off year too. This will be the third edition.
