Substation X-World is a sex shop with a men-only cruising area attached, a few minutes on foot from Cornavin station. It has been at the same address in the Pâquis since 1997 and runs over three air-conditioned floors.
The shop is open to everyone and stocks toys, lubricants, cockrings, masks and fetish wear. The cruising side is men only and takes up two levels plus a mezzanine: video cabins, darkrooms, glory holes, a sling, individual cabins and a maze, with a cloakroom included.
It is one of the few cruising addresses in Geneva that is not a sauna, which is part of why it stays in use rather than being a shop with a back room.
