Le Phare is a small cafe-bar on a pedestrian street in Saint-Gervais, a few minutes from Cornavin station. It calls itself an LGBTIQ+ cafe-bar, and the room matches that description: lesbians, gay men, queer regulars and a good share of Geneva's international residents.
The terrace is why many people come. It takes up most of the little street and fills up long before the inside room does. The walls carry rotating shows by local artists, so the place looks different every few weeks. Food stays at snack level, with vegan options on the list.
