About this Event
Pride Aargau belongs to a canton rather than to a city, and it gathers in Aarau. The demonstration sets off from the station square and the festival takes over the Maienzugplatz afterwards, with food trucks, a bar and a stage.
This is the third edition. The motto is Zämehalt: Mitenand und Förenand, Swiss German for holding together, with each other and for each other.
Aargau lies in the gap between Zurich, Basel and Bern, and the Pride is run by a cantonal association rather than a city one, which is why it moves people in from across the whole Rüebliland.
