Bronx is a private members club at the eastern end of Södermalm, near Danvikstull, and it has two lives. One is the sauna: Spartacus lists two steam rooms, a dry sauna, showers, a bar, a dark room, glory holes and a sling, and recorded a new sauna opening at the address in May 2026. The other is the club, which runs underground techno and bounce across two floors through the night, with the metro running nearby.
The address has a history. The original Bronx Sauna shut in 2017, when Stockholm lost both of its gay saunas, and several travel guides still list it as permanently closed. The club is running again under the name Nya Bastun, the new sauna, and posts regularly.
It has no website. The old domain forwards to the Facebook page, and that is where the programme is announced.
