Lyckan i Tanto

Lyckan i Tanto is an outdoor restaurant and bar in Tantolunden, on the water at the western end of Södermalm. It is a summer place, open from spring to autumn, with deck chairs on the gravel, long tables and an awning over the bar.

The kitchen does prawn sandwiches, cured salmon with dill potatoes, meat dishes, ice cream and coffee, and the place works as a lunch stop, an afternoon in the sun and an evening bar in turn. It is run by the people behind Moxy, the city's biggest sapphic club night, and Queer Stockholm lists it as the closest Stockholm has to a lesbian bar with a fixed address.

Stockholm Pride named it Restaurateur of the Year, and queer programming runs through the season: comedy nights by and for queer women, speed friending during Pride week, and other one-off events.
