Manhattan is an adult cinema and cruise club on Hantverkargatan on Kungsholmen, a few minutes from Rådhuset station. Behind the entrance, where videos and merchandise are sold, there are film cabins with glory holes, a dark room and a cruising lounge, with nonstop video running on trans, bi, straight and gay channels.
The crowd is mostly gay men, and the venue states plainly that all orientations and genders are welcome. Mixed nights are held during the month. Some visits are arranged in advance: the venue points people at its social profiles and at dedicated Kik group chats.
The lights come up and the videos stop a quarter of an hour before closing, which is the clearest signal you will get that the evening is over.
