About

RFSL Stockholm is the city branch of RFSL, the Swedish federation for the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex people, founded nationally in 1950 and one of the oldest organisations of its kind anywhere.

The branch has premises on Alsnögatan on the eastern side of Södermalm, on the third floor, and runs a weekly drop-in evening called Queerkväll. It is open to anyone, there is nothing to sign up for, and you can stay as long or as briefly as you like. That makes it the obvious first stop for a visitor who wants to meet people rather than go out drinking, or for anyone who has just moved to the city.

Alongside that the branch runs courses and training, support and counselling work, and volunteering, and takes part in Stockholm Pride each year.
