Bee is a restaurant and bar in the Stora Saluhallen market hall on Kungstorget, in the middle of Gothenburg and across the street from the Avalon Hotel. It started because the city had no LGBTQ place where a mixed crowd could simply meet, and it has been one of the scene's fixed points since.

The kitchen does fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, and there is outdoor seating on the square. Later in the evening at weekends the restaurant turns into a dance floor. Drag evenings, Eurovision parties and West Pride events run here through the year.

The bar calls itself straight friendly and puts the emphasis on everyone feeling at home, whatever their background, orientation or age.
