Gymnasivm is a men only sauna club in a converted house on Ulica Pohorskega bataljona, in a mixed residential and light industrial pocket north of the centre near the ring road. It has been running for about twenty years and is held by a hedonists' association, which is the legal form as much as the mood: the house describes its own principle as pleasure of the senses, with recreation and body care attached.
Inside there is a dry sauna, a steam room, changing and private cabins, a sling, a TV lounge, some gym equipment and a small bar. The crowd is older than at the city's other sauna, broadly thirty five upwards, and the place is quieter and more conversational for it. Themed nights come round now and then. Wifi is free.
The house rules are short and mostly about consideration: shower before using the facilities, no alcohol or drugs brought in, no prostitution, and no damage to the fittings.
