The greatest potential for the best disco club in this region, but a stagnant reputation, today's style of homegrown people condemns it to a tough fight for some customers, I was in the club in 2007 for the first time in my life and it was an experience, last year I came here for the second time and it's top, the view of nature, the place, the quality of drinks, food during grill weekends and the sound system is quite good. Everything is about people, also the fate of this unique Shanghai.
Rest in peace, write to me if you have an idea.
Times have changed... this club too, but unfortunately for the worse. Today we are "celebrating" its 24th birthday, what was here 10-15 years ago is unfortunately a thing of the past. The atmosphere here is far from what it used to be. Bored guests at most tables clicking on their mobile phones (maybe also writing a negative review..), smoky space, with bad music and homophobic sbskar... this does not motivate me to visit again in a few years. too bad
So this "gay bar" has hit rock bottom. Unfortunately, what was once a meeting place for the GAY community is now ... a smoky disco from the third price range 😔 unfortunately. The place is no longer suitable for the gay community = it is not welcome here !!! SBSkar proved it to us at the entrance when paying. 24th anniversary of the bar ... and this bar has returned to the 20th century. Sad 😑
Boring boring boring....playing Rytmus and Dara or Spice Girls is the highlight of the whole evening when you at least dance a little. More of a "quick look and catch the next train home" party than a Club or Disco Club. Wasted money, wasted time for which the Club should pay me for being there at all. Those were good times and I loved it in Shanghai, but in this case there was no comeback. Too bad..
The operator probably doesn't understand the term disco club. People primarily go to this type of establishment for good music to which they want to dance and have fun. The quality of the music seems to be in last place here. It is questionable what the entrance fee is actually for? The concept is more reminiscent of a pub where there is cheap alcohol so that the customer can get drunk cheaply and spend time in a smoky environment. Nobody is perfect, but a professional approach is expected from the operator, which is lacking here. It's a shame, because I remember the times when we went here knowing that we would have a good time and dance, which is unfortunately a thing of the past today. Today it's more about the clientele who visit you knowing that they can get drunk cheaply here.
