El Diablo Hostel is a small hostel on Strahinjića Bana in Dorćol, Belgrade's old town, open since 2013. It has twenty beds spread across a double ensuite room, a twin room, a four-bed room, and dorms of six and eight.
The hostel keeps a devil-and-ghost, witchy identity throughout its branding and decor. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, a common room with a TV, a book exchange shelf and board games, plus a balcony and a terrace. A resident cat lives on site. Free Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels, tea, coffee and lockers are included, and there is a washing machine for guests.
It runs walking tours and movie nights, and hosts communal dinners it calls Devil's Grandma dinners, built around getting guests talking to each other rather than keeping to their rooms.
